I ended up at Portland Automotive since I have a car with CarMax's parts warranty on it and they are part of the approved mechanics, and Firestone in Cromwell (review for them incoming on their page) said that my car had an issue with it. From the moment I stepped in the door (which was opened for me- where does that even happen anymore), to the folks at the front desk, to communication, to the inspection and service, Portland Automotive gave beyond 5 stars. They did a full inspection on my car, and despite what Firestone in Cromwell said, I did not need new brakes or a valve cover gasket, saving me hundreds of dollars. I'd whole-heartedly recommend Portland Automotive. Thank you!

First time visit to Portland Automotive, for CT state emissions testing only. Car was in and out in 13 minutes! Didn't even get to finish one article in the waiting room magazines. Great service and it pays to have an appointment.
