I brought my Jeep here for the first time to get some things fixed. Rasheam was already outside and directed me to the entrance. They did a full inspection. Seperated everything into categories on what they will fix, what i should fix in the future. Took pictures of any and everything. So detailed. They called before doing any work and gave me a more than fair price. Karl, the gentleman up front, was extremely nice, helpful and knowledgable both on the phone, and in person. All of the guys there do great work from the oil changes, to the knitty gritty. Thanks again. Would absolutely recommend to a friend.

Being a woman and not having a "go to" mechanic, I always worry that they are going to try to rip me off and tell me I need to have work done that isn't necessary. When I started having trouble with my car I asked around and a friend recommended Portland Automotive. For a small garage I was very impressed. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. They did an assessment of my car and texted me a link to the full report, then followed up with a phone call to discuss my options and prices. Then they emailed me a quote with full breakdown. Some of the work that needed to be done was covered under warranty and had to be done at a dealership, and some of the work was not. They contacted the dealership and said that they would do the work they could until the dealership had a break availability to do the other work, then they brought the car to the dealership for me, and even checked the dealerships work afterwards. Because they would have my car for a while they offered to give me a loaner car if needed. When they realized they didn't have a loaner available they offered to schedule a rental car for me and they covered the cost. They had my car for a week and although paying the bill is never fun, I (and a bunch of friends) did some research to make sure I wasn't getting overcharged (which I wasn't). When my car was ready they told me I could return the rental car to them and not have to deal with the hassle of getting a ride from the rental place. And they also had my car washed for me at no charge. The level of service was definitely five star and I believe I now have my "go to" garage!
