I am so grateful to have found Portland Automotive. My original dealership left me with list of unexpected repairs that totaled $20K(!) without a sense of what was urgent and what could wait. It left me scared to drive what had been thus far a reliable car beyond town. I went to Portland Automotive for a second opinion - thank goodness I did. They were very surprised by the quote I presented, performed their own inspection, communicated often and well. They triaged what needed to be repaired right away and what could be monitored for the future. Turned out, I just needed new tires for the immediate future(!!!) - not thousands and thousands of dollars of repair. They were thorough, warm, and reassuring. My husband and I are switching over to them for all our car needs moving forward and I recommend them highly to anyone who needs a trustworthy autoshop.
