Portland Automotive was recommended to me a couple of years ago, separately by two trustworthy good friends who take great care of their vehicles. I am deeply grateful. They have loyal, satisfied customers for good reason. The quality and integrity of their work and service is impressive. They have been completely professional, honest, trustworthy, transparent, thorough, helpful, and friendly. I have experienced quick turn-arounds, top quality repairs, and fair pricing. From my first call to Portland Automotive, their service was friendly&informative. My car was leaking oil and I was able to get an appointment quickly. Mike diagnosed the issue, gave me an excellent price (saving me thousands!) and had my Subaru fixed that same day. Additionally, I was given a loaner car. Much to my surprise, they also fixed the digital odometer which had gone dark a couple yrs. back. Needless to say, I won’t be returning to the dealership where I had bought the car & did all servicing there for the past 8yrs. Portland Auto is my new friend! Was given an estimate for over $1000 for brakes. For such a price and an old car I asked if they thought it was worth putting in so much money or if I should just buy a new one. They took my money. 2 days later my dash board was lit up. I asked them to check it out. They asked for another $180 to just look at the car. I brought it across the street and gave them $150 for the same diagnostics and they listened to me as a customer and driver. They told me not to put anymore money into the car. So here I am over 1300 down and in need of a new car. I feel incredibly stupid for trusting Portland automotive to listen to me as a customer. They clearly either don't know how to correctly assess a cars damage or they do know and take peoples money anyway. 1.) Hometown garage is cheaper 2.) Hometown garage actually listens to the customers! Very disappointing! I had recommended them highly before this.

Needed a VIN cert. got a quick appt and was in and out as scheduled.

Always pleased with all work done on my vehicle at Portland Automotive. Staff always thorough and professional. Work done in a timely manner. As an elderly woman I trust them to keep my car in safe running condition!
